Creating a Magical Space

Wherever your magical path leads you it is important to have a space where you can practice your magic. Magical spaces have their own energy and are important in creating and maintaining your magic. Here are a few ways that you can create your own magical space.

Have a dedicated place

Having your own space creates a special energy for you to interact with magic. It can also set you in the mindset of magical thinking and you will be able to focus your energy and intent when you practice magic. Find a spot in your home that feels good to you and think about what you want to get out of your space. Cleanse your space and set up a table and/or a cloth and place the items that you will use on them.

Keep your magical space clean

Magic is also spiritual so it is important to keep your space clean and uncluttered. You don’t want to have your energy and the energy of your space to be unstable. It also shows your respect for your space. You can incorporate cleaning your magical space into your practice by viewing it as another ritual. Cleanse your items physically and energetically and you will feel the difference in your space and magic.

Interact with your space often

Interacting with your magical space helps to align your energies with your space and your magic. It will also draw you deeper into your magic and creates a magical bond. View it as another relationship that you have to nurture and interact with to see growth. If you want to be close, then you have to develop the relationship.

Use items that are meaningful to you

Make sure that the magical items you use are meaningful to you. These tools are an extension of yourself, your energy, and your intent and are part of the magic you create. Find items that represent you and what you want to create. Your space will feel more natural to you and you will feel the flow of magic surround you in your space.
